Memorial Day 2019 at Lone Tree Cemetery

The Hayward Municipal Band will participate in the program at Lone Tree Cemetery on Memorial Day.  The program starts at 11:00, with the band providing music starting at 10:30. Lone Tree's Veterans' Cemetery is pictured above.

Our summer concert series starts on Fathers’ Day, as it has since 1957, at 2:30 on the Tony Morelli Bandstand in Memorial Park, 24176 Mission Blvd. Hayward, behind the Hayward Plunge.  There will be a concert each Sunday through July 7th.  This concert season is made possible by the City of Hayward and HARD.  For more information call 510-569-8497.

The 40 member professional band, under the direction of Kathy Morelli Maier, performs classical, popular, jazz, musicals, and ethnic music from the 1700s to the present day.  All concerts are FREE!  Music unites people of all ages, ethnic groups, an economic levels in a joyous manner.
