Memorial Day 2017 Program Announced

The Hayward Municipal Band will perform at Hayward's Lone Tree Cemetery on Memorial Day, May 29, 2017.

The music begins at 10:30 a.m., and the formal program starts at 11:00 a.m.

This is the 114th annual Memorial Day program at Lone Tree Cemetery. Said to be the longest continuous-running Memorial Day observance in the Bay Area, the program includes recognition of veterans, speeches by dignitaries, a show of military and classic vehicles, and a barbecue hosted by local Scouts. Patriotic music, including a musical tribute to all who have served our country, will be performed during the program.
